Privacy policy
We collect as little data as possible and as much as needed to run JustBarter as a witness platform.
What data we process
Email address (for magic-link login), the contents of your deal sessions (in full and immutable once manifested), and the logs technically required to provide the service. IP addresses are stored hashed only. We use cookies only as technical session cookies — no tracking, no analytics.
Legal basis
Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract performance — being the witness IS the contract) and (f) (legitimate interest in secure operation).
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, data portability, objection — on request via info@justbarter.org. Note: already-manifested deals are technically immutable; erasing your account removes it, but archived deals remain available to the other party.
Hosting & data location
Servers in Germany (IONOS SE, Karlsruhe). No transfer to third countries.
